Sweet J – this is fast

Tried the release candidate for [Mozilla Firebird 0.7](http://www.mozilla.org/).
It makes IE 6 look positively sluggish.

Now if they could only fix the create range stuff, so that you can build a rich text editor with the standards as simply as you can in IE…

A book on my wish-list

I’ve followed [ALA](http://www.alistapart.com) for ages.
Now Zeldman, the creator, have published his book on designing websites on the standards: Designing With Web Standards (Indianapolis: New Riders, 2003).

ME WANT’S IT!!

Kick me

There are times when I could kick myself if I was just limber enough.. 😀

Here I preach about accessibility and still I forget to add a few central concepts to this site.

Well now it’s done. I’ve added the skip navigation link at the top – so that people with screenreaders won’t have to listen to the endless recital of links before they get to the text.

Fun With Numbers

My SO remarked the other day about how the swedish system for parental leave have changed over the years.
She had dug up the small fact that the minimum compensation paid 1970 were the same as the one paid in the year 2000. Meanwhile prices have gone up by some 600-800% – no wonder there are fewer kids nowadays…

Parental Ulcers

Almost funny if it wasn’t so bloody tragic. For some time I’ve been home with my kids. It’s somewhat of a privilege being a father in Sweden that you have the opportunity to.

However, while I was gone, the market for my work shrank locally to next to nothing – aaargh!!!
So now I find myself, hat in hand, being willing to work for pay that would have had me laughing a year ago.

Remind me to claim revenge when I become the Evil Overlord… 😀

Starting a blog

I’ve found myself with less time than I would have liked. All my good intentions in creating content for this site have been put to shame – so to compensate, and to give myself somewhere to just blow of some steam I’ve started a weblog.

All opinions expressed are my own, and if you do not like them feel free to ignore them.
